The dive score

One number out of 10, for every site, every day.

Each site knows which way it faces, so SEDS can tell which spots are protected from the wind. Visibility counts most, judged against what's normal for that water: 40 ft is a great day in Georgia and a poor one in the Keys.

Gets smarter as we dive

The more of us who log dives, the better the scores get.

Forecast models can't see the water. Divers can. Every visibility report fine-tunes that site's score for everyone.

From the makers of NEDS

Made by a diver, for Southeast divers.

Planning a dive here used to mean one app for the weather, another for wind, another for tides, then guessing which sites would be protected. SEDS puts it all in one place. It's free, it's the sister app of NEDS in New England, and it's built with the dive community, so send ideas anytime.

Android

SEDS for iPhone and Android is on the way.

Until then, use SEDS in your browser: same scores, dive log and buddies. Want the app early? Email us the Gmail you use on your phone and we'll send a tester invite.
